Health Care
Residents of Greenbrier County receive state-of-the art health care at the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, located in Ronceverte. This 122 bed acute care facility is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals, The College of American Patholigist, The American Osteopathic Association and the American Association of Blood Banks.

The Greenbrier Valley Medical Center has a full staff of internal medicine and family practice doctors, as well as a large variety of specialists.

The Greenbrier Clinic is located in the West Virginia wing of The Greenbrier resort and conference center. Each year, thousands of people come to combine a relaxing, luxurious holiday with the Clinic's unparalleled diagnostic evaluation. It is not necessary to stay at The Greenbrier during a Clinic examination, so clients can enjoy top-notch health care minutes from home.

The Robert C. Byrd Clinic, in conjunction with the West Virginia Osteopathic School of Medicine, offers a new ambulatory, primary care clinic, where children can be vaccinated, mothers can receive adequate prenatal care, the elderly can get advice about the importance of a nutritional diet and regular exercise, and people can be better educated about how to prevent illness with lifestyle changes and early preventive treatment.

Greenbrier County is home to 63 doctors and 17 dentists.
